Gonzalez_Thomas_web.jpgClassmates Woody Isom, Claudia Rickert Isom, and Jane Rigler met in Iowa City to celebrate Claudia and Jane's 50 year University of Iowa class reunion. After her time at FSU Law, Rigler went on to receive her LL.M. at NYU and to teach law at Penn State Dickinson Law School for 27 years. Posted 11.1.23

 

Gonzalez_Thomas_web.jpgOn their honeymoon between their 1L and 2L years of law school, classmates Woody Isom and Claudia Rickert Isom camped and hiked across the Canadian Rockies. In July of 2023, they returned to Canada’s Glacier National Park to relive their “Honeymoon Hike” by hiking to the top of Glacier Crest mountain where they said their private wedding vows 50 years ago and to celebrate their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary. Posted 8.11.23

 

The Honorable Claudia R. Isom was honored by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers with the 2018-2019 Rosemary Barkett Outstanding Achievement Award for, among other things, outstanding career achievement that charts new territory in the legal profession and advancing the status of women. Gonzalez, a partner at Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing, P.A. in Tampa, received the 2018 Hillsborough County Bar Association Outstanding Lawyer Award on January 9, 2019. The award recognizes an attorney who has made a significant difference in the practice of law and the community due to personal and professional ethics and conduct. Gonzalez practices in the areas of labor relations, equal opportunity law, wage and hour law, and all employment and personnel related matters. Posted 1.17.19

 

The Honorable Claudia R. Isom has retired from her seat on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Hillsborough County. She was elected to the court in 1990. Posted 12.20.18

He also has been reappointed by the Florida Supreme Court to a three-year term on the board of The Florida Bar Foundation. He is a partner at Berger Singerman LLP in Tallahassee, where he assists clients with governmental regulatory matters, with a particular emphasis on environmental and land use issues. Posted 8.18.17
