Samuel P. Queirolo was named to the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of real estate law. Posted 10.4.22

Dorothy (Dottie) Louise Miller, 82, passed away on October 14, 2019. After she earned a law degree from Florida State University in 1990, Dottie founded a regional newspaper, Georgia South, in Boston, Georgia, and continued to own and operate Bush Baby – a Junk, Art, and Antique Store in Monticello, FL – for a total of 28 years. In 2011, Dottie co-authored a book with the builder of her unique artsy home entitled, “Peckerwood – A Writers’ Colony and a State of Being.” Posted 11.30.21

Jorge Flores, of the Law Offices of Jorge L. Flores, PA, currently represents clients who have been seriously injured or lost their lives as the direct result of the negligent or intentional acts of others. Posted 4.8.21

Lisa Vickers will serve as the next deputy executive director for the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR). Most recently, Vickers served as former Senate President Bill Galvano‘s chief of staff. Posted 12.10.20

 

Susan Tillotson Bunch is pleased to announce the launch of Promotions & Privacy Law LLC. The firm, located in Tampa, Florida, will focus on the areas of advertising, particularly promotions, contests, gaming, sweepstakes and e-sports, and privacy, particularly personal information privacy and data security. Posted 10.1.20

Peter Harris passed away on December 17, 2019. Harris owned and managed ADG Business and Governmental Consultants for close to 25 years and was one of the four originating members of the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists. Posted 1.8.20

Susan Tillotson Bunch, of Thomas & LoCicero, PL in Tampa, earned the American Bar Association (ABA)-approved Privacy Law Specialist (PLS) certification in June 2018. She was in the inaugural class of 27 lawyers for this certification, which is administered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Bunch holds the following IAPP designations: Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Business Management (CIBM), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E). She was also appointed to the advisory board of the Privacy Bar Section of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, effective January 2019. Posted 1.17.19

Lisa R. Vickers will serve as chief of staff to incoming Florida Senate president Bill Galvano during the 2018-2020 legislative term. Vickers currently serves as a senior policy advisor to Senate president Joe Negron. Posted 3.22.18

Her practice focuses primarily on intellectual property matters such as trademarks, trade secrets, copyright infringement cases and domain name disputes. Posted 8.16.17

 

Judith S. Kahn passed away on August 4, 2017. She had her own practice, the Law Office of Judith S. Kahn in Saint Petersburg. Kahn worked closely with Professor Chuck Ehrhardt. Posted 8.14.17

Susan Sedensky is now the executive director of the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in Pawcatuck, CT. Posted 6.19.17
