Professor Banoff is an expert on business organizations and securities law, with a strong emphasis on corporate finance. She is co-author of Japanese Securities Regulation (Little, Brown & Co., 1983). Professor Banoff teaches Civil Procedure, Business Associations, Corporate Finance, Agency and Partnership, and Securities Regulation. She has been an associate in the firm of Sullivan & Cromwell in New York City, staff counsel for the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Activities, and a senior fellow in law at Harvard University. She has also served on the faculty of the law schools at the University of Minnesota, Rutgers University, and the University of San Diego. Professor Banoff is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Santa Clara School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of Santa Clara Law Review.
