Dino Falaschetti is an empirical economist whose scholarship has concentrated on corporate governance, with special emphasis on executive compensation and the relationship between auditor independence and earnings quality. He is a Campbell National Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Dr. Falaschetti previously served the Executive Office of the President as a Senior Economist for the Council of Economic Advisers (with responsibilities for regulation and financial services) and held academic appointments at Montana State University, University of California at Berkeley, University of Tennessee, and Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Falaschetti fulfilled managerial responsibilities in corporate finance and accounting for a Fortune 100 company.
