Submissions The Journal accepts submissions from professors, judges, practitioners, and other professionals. Student submissions are limited to those from students at Florida State Law. While preference is given to article-length submissions, we also encourage shorter, essay-length pieces. All manuscripts submitted for publication are reviewed as expeditiously as possible to determine their suitability for publication. Text and footnotes should reasonably conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010). The Journal reserves the right to determine the final stylistic form in which the manuscript will be published. The Journal encourages use of the ExpressO submission service, although we do accept submissions directly, as well, at JTLP@law.fsu.edu. The submission cycle for Volume 22 of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy is currently open, but will be coming to a close shortly. Manuscripts should conform to the following specifications: File Format: Microsoft Word Requests for expedited review may be made through either the ExpressO submission software or directly to the Journal at JTLP@law.fsu.edu. All reviews are typically made and completed between 7-10 days. In reviewing the manuscripts, the Journal considers many factors, all of which contribute to our decision of whether or not to send a publication offer. Generally, however, the Journal looks for: a timely and relevant legal issue, problem and solution discussed, style, uniqueness of argument, quality of research, author credentials, and initial quality of submission (minimal citation and grammatical errors, though submissions by foreign authors are treated more leniently in this regard). If you have any additional questions, please contact the Journal at JTLP@law.fsu.edu. Thank you for your interest in publishing with the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy, we look forward to reading your manuscript! — The JTLP Editorial Board |
