Our students love going to school in Tallahassee because of the wealth of legal employment opportunities. Many law students welcome the chance to “try on for size” different types of legal jobs while they are in law school. Tallahassee is home to more than 500 law firms, many of which provide part-time work opportunities for our second- and third-year students. Our law school is within walking distance of the state capitol, the Florida Supreme Court, the First District Court of Appeal and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Numerous government agencies located in Tallahassee also provide students with excellent work experience.
