The mission of the College of Law’s Career Placement Office is to provide students with the tools and skills they will need to launch successful job searches. This is done in a variety of ways including training and skills workshops, individual counseling, and guest speaker panel presentations. On-Campus recruitment programs bring more than 100 legal employers to the law school each year to interview students for legal jobs. We prepare our graduates for a range of legal careers, from private law practice to public service at the local, state, national and international levels. The job placement rate for the Class of 2000, six months after graduation, is nearly 95%. Another 1% of those students chose to pursue further graduate studies.
The Career Placement Office has recently started a networking program that will provide law students with additional opportunities to connect with our successful past graduates. For more information about the Career Placement Office, click here. |
