Construction on the law school's new 50,000-square-foot Advocacy Center is complete. The building features five courtrooms – four with jury boxes. In addition, it includes:

  • a suite of offices for our Public Interest Law Center and its three clinics,
  • a suite of faculty offices for our top-rated Environmental Law Program,
  • a suite of faculty offices for our burgeoning Business Law Program,
  • offices and dedicated interview rooms for the Placement Office, and
  • additional classrooms – including a video-conference room – and study spaces.

There are several naming opportunities available at the Advocacy Center. Gifts to name rooms can be earmarked for any purpose, including scholarships, professorships and special projects. The additional room naming recognition is possible because the building is fully funded, so gifts need not be used for bricks and mortar. For example, a $700,000 gift to name a new first-floor courtroom can be designated for any purpose the donor wishes, such as scholarships for students.
