Akilah Jackson has been a valuable program associate in the Career Services & Professional Development office at the Florida State College of Law since 2020. Prior to her work in the career services office, Jackson earned two degrees from Florida A&M University. She first completed her baccalaureate degree in Allied Health Services, graduating with the distinction of magna cum laude. She then pursued an MS in Sports Management, finishing the program with a summa cum laude.
Aside from her academic achievements, Jackson has performed various professional roles. She has served as a fiscal assistant, dean's assistant, and athletic trainer/supervisor. Beyond her work at FSU Law, Jackson's passion for physical fitness and wellness has become an integral part of her life. She holds certification as a personal trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and has trained with the Florida A&M University Athletics. Notably, she was also chosen as an activity ambassador for the 2020 NFL Professional Bowl.
Additionally, Jackson proudly holds membership in the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Based in the College of Law Career Services and Professional Development Office, Jackson assumes a pivotal role in operational oversight and provides crucial administrative assistance to the career services staff and law school students. Her presence and expertise contribute significantly to the smooth operation of the College of Law Career Services and Professional Development Office Career Services office.
