Dean Kessinger joined the Florida State University College of Law in 2008 as the director of admissions and became the assistant dean for admissions in 2015. With close to 20 years of higher education experience, her background in marketing and management communication has been instrumental in developing the law school’s highly effective recruitment strategy. She has extensive experience in training, project management, recruitment, and counseling applicants and students. She also has published in the area of student retention.
Before joining the College of Law, Dean Kessinger was the vice president of student services for Keiser University. She was responsible for the development and implementation of student services programs at the university’s 22 campuses in Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. She is an alumna of Florida State University and a member of the Leadership Tallahassee Class XXII.
