Student Recruitment

The Student Recruitment Committee is responsible for helping the law school attract the brightest and the best students around! Committee members reach out to accepted student applicants through phone calls and emails to encourage them to be a part of the incoming 1L class. We participate in both in-person and virtual events with admitted and prospective students and work with alumni who are interested in participating in our Optional Interview Program for applicants to the law school.
Career Services

The Career Services Committee helps law students and recent graduates find great careers throughout Florida and beyond. Committee members work to try to increase the number of firms participating in On Campus Interviews and who are willing to hire students during the summer or to provide law clerk positions during the school year. We help host networking events in our hometowns and work to increase the number of firms interested in interviewing FSU Law students for future positions.
Development

The Development Committee is responsible for helping the law school raise funds to support student scholarships, student organizations, law school events, and more. Committee members thank donors who contribute to our Annual Fund and help identify alumni in their geographical areas, class years, or firms/organizations who can help sponsor book awards or who are willing to make major contributions to the law school. Committee members also serve as class agents who help reach out to their class alumni about the Annual Fund donation.

The Alumni Outreach Committee helps serve as a liaison between the law school and FSU Alumni. Committee members connect with the alumni local to their geographical regions through in-person or virtual events and social media. We distribute communications regarding FSU Law news and events and help promote the FSU Law Connect—if you are not yet registered, join here—where FSU Law alumni are regularly posting in news feeds, advertising jobs, and sharing photos.

The Alumni Awards Program is responsible for helping to identify and award FSU Law alumni in numerous categories, including those who are professionally distinguished and give their communities outstanding service, who have given back to the law school over an extended period of time, and who are early graduates who have used their law degrees to make a more just and equitable society.
Ad Hoc Profile Committee

The ad hoc Profile Committee helps promote our alumni as they shine while participating in in-person and virtual law school events, social media, networking events, and more! Committee members use social media and other platforms to help bring attention to the many successes of our alumni, which in turn helps to boost the FSU Law brand around the state and rest of the country. In addition, Committee members will work to create and support other FSU Law events where we can promote the law school.
