Celebrating 60 Years
The Florida State University College of Law experience is built on a shared commitment to giving students a competitive edge through outstanding teaching, close faculty mentorship, and a rigorous academic experience. Our nationally recognized faculty are committed to student success. In the classroom, professors challenge students to think critically, master complex legal concepts, and develop the skills needed to excel in the legal profession.
This dedication to academic excellence and personal mentorship has shaped generations of graduates—and it is the foundation of the community we celebrate today.
As part of our 60th Anniversary, we are honoring the people, experiences, and stories that have defined FSU Law since 1966. Throughout 2026, we will celebrate alongside our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners through special events, storytelling initiatives, historic photos, and an official Oral History Video Series. We invite you to check back often as new content is added throughout the year.
We also welcome everyone to share their FSU Law journey with us. Whether reflecting on time in the classroom, career path, service to others, or connection to our law school, your story is an important part of our legacy.
