Karol Bickett

Karol Bickett serves as the Assistant Dean for Finance at the Florida State University College of Law, where she is the primary point of contact for all budget, finance, contracts & grants, and HR administrative functions. She provides strategic fiscal leadership by overseeing and monitoring budget activities and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with university policies, and offering expert guidance on complex financial decisions. In addition, she is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of internal HR policies and procedures.

Bickett started her career at Florida State University in 2004 and has held progressive leadership roles, including Assistant Director for Budget and Business Systems at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. She has extensive experience in grants and federal awards, with a strong background in compliance, regulations, and the full lifecycle of sponsored funding. Her deep knowledge of university systems, coupled with her broad budget management experience, allows her to provide exceptional oversight and support to the College of Law’s academic and administrative units.

Bickett is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
