Randy Hanna has served as the dean and chief executive officer of Florida State University Panama City since 2016. He also serves as the dean of the College of Applied Studies for FSU. 

Previously, he served as chancellor of the Florida College System and as a member of the board of trustees of Florida A&M University, the University of West Florida, and Tallahassee Community College. He also served as a member and chairman of the Florida State Board of Community Colleges.

In addition to teaching courses at the College of Law, Hanna has taught graduate courses at the FSU College of Education and at Tallahassee Community College. 

Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984, Hanna served as a managing shareholder at the multistate law firm of Bryant Miller Olive P.A. He served as chairman of The Florida Board of Bar Examiners and the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission for the Northern District of Florida. He is a past recipient of The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award. As a student at the FSU College of Law, Hanna was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif.
