Russell Register

Russell Register is the Director of Professional Development in the Career Services Office. Register earned his J.D. in 2015 from the University of Alabama, School of Law, where he received the Dean’s Community Service Award and served as President of the Christian Legal Society and Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Register also holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida. While in law school, he served as an athletics compliance graduate assistant in the University of Alabama Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Register then worked for two years at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Department as the Compliance and Student-Athlete Development Coordinator. Prior to joining the staff at FSU College of Law, he worked on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) National Office Staff as an investigator in the enforcement department for nine years.
