Danielle M. Lyn is a visiting assistant professor at Florida State University College of Law, where she teaches a seminar on sports law. Her research explores the intersection of domestic and international legal frameworks in sport, with a particular focus on procedural justice in sport-related disputes.
She writes on both American and international sports law, examining the evolving convergence between U.S. legal principles and the global sports market. Professor Lyn holds a B.A. in Communications from Florida International University and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School. She is currently completing an LL.M. in International Business Disputes in Sports at the Université de Lausanne (Switzerland), further deepening her expertise in transnational sports governance and arbitration.
Before joining the FSU Law faculty, Professor Lyn clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable DeAndrea Gist Benjamin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and Pennsylvania.
