What makes FSU Law unique?
The location and the access it provides. Being in Tallahassee, just steps away from the Florida Supreme Court, the Capitol, countless government agencies, and firms with multiple practice areas, means you don’t have to wait until after law school to get hands-on experience. Whether you’re interested in public service, litigation, corporate law, or something else, you have opportunities to intern, clerk, and network in real-world legal settings from day one.
What are your plans post-graduation?
I'm not sure yet. As a 1L, I'm still exploring different practice areas, but I'm keeping an open mind and looking forward to discovering what interests me most.
What has been the best experience you have had at the College of Law thus far?
One of the best experiences I’ve had at FSU Law so far has been attending SBA (Student Bar Association) events, like the welcome back social and Semi-formal. These events gave me the chance to connect with people outside of my section and meet upper-level students. It’s easy to stay in your bubble with just your 1L section, but SBA events really helped me branch out, build relationships, and feel even more connected to the FSU Law community. Plus, it’s always great to take a break from studying and just enjoy time with classmates in a more relaxed setting.
