Celebrating Twenty-Six Years with Dean B
Dean Nancy Benavides—affectionately known to our community as “Dean B”—has been an integral part of FSU College of Law for the past twenty-six years. As Dean of Students and Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Advancement, she has significantly impacted nearly every aspect of the student experience.
Her vision and dedication have guided generations of students from their very first day of orientation through the bar exam and beyond, helping them achieve professional success while fostering a sense of community and belonging. Beyond her formal roles, Dean B is a mentor, advocate, and constant source of encouragement who has left an indelible mark on our College.
We are honored to Toast to Twenty-Six Years with Dean B and look forward to many more. Please join us in recognizing her remarkable contributions by sharing your memories and well-wishes on our message board below. We welcome stories, messages, photos, and videos.
Please join us on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. for a celebration event in the D’Alemberte Rotunda.
