What makes FSU Law unique?

Location. Our law school is within walking distance of the Florida Capitol and the Florida Supreme Court. We're also situated in a neat geographic area where there are nice beaches, outdoor spaces, and the feeling of all four seasons!

What factors were most important to you when considering where to attend law school?

Geographic Location. One helpful tip that I received was to attend a law school where you could see yourself practicing in the state your law school was located in upon graduating. It helps you solidify where you will be living, but of course, you don't always have to remain in one state forever.

What is a misconception about law school that you found to be untrue from your experience?

That cold calls are the most embarrassing thing ever. Nobody is ever condescending if you think you did a bad job. Everybody forgets by the end of class anyways!
