Rebekah Kaufman

Rebekah is a new 2L member of the Trial Team. She also serves as the marshal of Phi Alpha Delta, and is a member of the Student Bar Association, Trafficking in America Task Force and the Women’s Law Symposium. 

Rebekah spent her summer interning at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office and as a law clerk for Kling Law, whom she worked for prior to law school. 

Greyson Oswalt-Smith

Greyson is a new 2L member of the Trial Team. He was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team for the 2019-2020 academic year and placed 12th overall at the national competition in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as the 2L representative for the Student Veteran Law Symposium and is a member of the Student Bar Association and the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. 

Prior to attending law school, Greyson spent six years as an Intelligence Analyst in the Army Reserves, reaching the rank of Corporal. Greyson spent his summer as a Judicial Extern/Law Clerk at the DOAH. 

Austin Diaz

Austin is a 3L and has been a member of the Trial Team for the last two years. He competed in the 2019 Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition and was a semi-finalist at the 2020 Costello National Criminal Law Competition in Fairfax, VA. Austin joined the Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team his 1L year and quickly learned that litigation was his passion. He then went on to work for the Gender and Family Justice Clinic to put his newly learned skillset to good use by advocating for underprivileged clients. 

Rachel Maxwell

Rachel is a 3L and second-year member of the Trial Team. Rachel made it to the semi-final round of the 2019 Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition and also competed at the 2019 In Vinos Veritas Trial Competition. She was a member of the 2018-2019 Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team, which competed nationally in Washington, D.C. Rachel also serves as the treasurer of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and has earned Book Awards in Trial Practice, Legal Writing I and Professional Responsibility. 

Corie Posey

Corie is a 3L and two-year member of the Trial Team. She, along with her respective teams, won first place in the 2019 Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition and the National Championship at the 2019 Mockingbird Challenge Mock Trial Competition in Montgomery, AL. Corie was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team for the 2018-2019 academic year and competed at the national competition in Washington, D.C. She served as the team’s head coach for the 2019-2020 academic year, bringing home fifth and 12th place finishes as well as the award for Best Overall Defense. 

Sidney Carter

Sidney is a 3L member of the Trial Team and previously served as social chair. She was a finalist in the 2019 Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition, a semi-finalist in the 2019 MLK Civil Rights Competition at U.C. Davis in Sacramento, California, and a semi-finalist in the 2020 Costello National Criminal Law Competition in Fairfax, Virginia. She is also member of the Business Law Society, the Association for Criminal Justice, the Student Bar Association, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Association.

Gabi De Almeida

Gabi is a 3L member of the Trial Team and previously served as secretary. Gabi has competed in the William W. Daniel National Trial Competition and the Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition. Gabi is also a member of the FSU Law Moot Court Team; her team won first place in the Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition in 2020, and she argued before Florida Supreme Court in FSU Law's Final Four competition in 2019. She currently serves as a Final Four coach and PR co-chair for the Moot Court Team.
