Adam Wilson joined the College of Law in August 2026 as a Visiting Legal Writing Professor. Professor Wilson studied political science and psychology at Florida State before attending the University of Michigan Law School. During law school, he was an articles editor on the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law. Professor Wilson also served as a tutor for core subjects, including Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, and Evidence.
Prior to returning to FSU, Professor Wilson served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Bureau of the Florida Office of the Attorney General. He has litigated over one hundred criminal appeals in the Florida Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. Professor Wilson also trained and mentored several younger attorneys in the Criminal Appeals Bureau.
