Lynwood F. Arnold, Jr. was posthumously awarded a Florida Bar Pro Bono Award. When faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, Arnold was one of the first people to create a statewide model to deliver eviction relief and legal services to those in need. Lynwood F. Arnold, Jr. passed away on August 19, 2020 from unexpected complications related to his recent cancer diagnosis. During his life, he practiced real estate and probate litigation in Tampa and Tallahassee. He helped form the Bay Area Real Estate Council and was its first president. In addition to the Leon and Hillsborough County Bar Associations, Lynwood dedicated significant time to The Florida Bar's Real Property Probation and Trust Law section and served on its Executive Council. Arnold was also an esteemed member of the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee’s Board of Directors. His devotion to pro bono work was just as steadfast as his devotion to mentoring young lawyers. Wayne Sutton "Spider" Webb, Jr. passed away on September 7, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. He led Office Systems Consultants in Tallahassee for 26 years, and continued to manage commercial and residential real estate after he sold the company in 2009. Posted 9.17.19
Charles L. Woody has published an article, "An Argument for Use of Stock Options with Forfeiture Clauses for Breach of Duty of Loyalty" in 119 W. Va. L. Rev. Online 51 (2016).
