Florida State University Law Review Launches Volume 53 with Tribute to President John Thrasher
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State University Law Review, the flagship legal journal of the Florida State University College of Law, has published Volume 53 Issue 1, opening with a Tribute honoring the life and legacy of former Florida State University President John Thrasher.
The issue begins with a reflection on Thrasher’s enduring impact on Florida State University and the state of Florida, recognizing his decades of public service, leadership, and commitment to strengthening both institutions. Leading the volume with the Tribute underscores the significance of his legacy to the university community.
The Tribute features essays from prominent leaders who worked closely with Thrasher throughout his career, including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, FSU Law Associate Dean Debra Henley, former Florida Senate President Don Gaetz, FSU Provost James Clark, and FSU College of Law Dean Erin O’Hara O’Connor.
“Floridians will long remember this great man and his selfless and faithful dedication to his family, his state, his country, and his beloved Florida State University,” writes former Governor Jeb Bush.
