Professors in New Administrative Roles
We are fortunate at the law school to have brilliant, engaged faculty members, many of whom enrich our community by lending their expertise and talents to administrative roles that are vital to our operations. After serving for four years as associate dean for academic affairs, Shawn Bayern is stepping down from that role this summer. We are very grateful to Shawn for his steadfast service to the faculty and College of Law, especially through the pandemic. I am delighted to report that Shawn has agreed to transition into the the role of associate dean for technology, so he will remain an integral member of our administration. Kelli Williams has agreed to step into the associate dean for academic affairs role beginning this summer, and we are thankful she is taking on this important role. Kelli previously served as associate dean for research. In that role, she adeptly helped spread the word about the phenomenal work of our faculty. With Kelli transitioning roles, Jake Linford has agreed to serve as associate dean for research beginning this summer, and we are all looking forward to him lending his expertise to the administrative team. Please join me in thanking Shawn, Kelli, and Jake for their leadership and service to FSU Law!
