It's summertime in Tallahassee and our Institute of Law, Technology & Innovation, under the leadership of executive director Aaron Voloj Dessauer, is hard at work producing timely and relevant webinars through our Frontiers in Law and Technology monthly lunchtime series. On May 17 we hosted Relaxing the Ban on Non-Lawyer Ownership: an Overview of Regulatory Sandboxes Nationwide featuring Lucy Ricca, executive director of the Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession at Stanford Law School. Ricca is a national expert on regulatory reform of the legal profession to increase innovation, market diversification and access to justice.

On Friday, June 7 at noon, we will present Likes and Laws: Social Media Influencer Compliance, Risks, and Pitfalls. This webinar features Tyler J. Thompson and Talia Boiangin of Greenberg Traurig and Lauren Angulo, the founder of Venustas Law.  Here is the registration link. These are just two of many virtual events hosted by the institute this summer. Information about the institute and its previous events is available on the law school's website. You can also watch recordings of past webinars (many approved for CLE credit free of charge) on the website or on the Florida Bar's Practice Resource Center's website, Legalfuel. The institute is part of FSU Law's Stoops Center for Law and Business.
