Why did you choose the College of Law?
I chose Florida State University College of Law because its learning environment is unique from the average law school experience. It provides students with a very friendly and welcoming space to grow, learn and connect with peers without being overly competitive. The faculty and staff truly care about each student, and the smaller class sizes and lunch office hours with professors reinforce that personalized family experience.
Why did you choose the College of Law?
I actually spent a month with the College of Law while I was an undergrad through the Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates program. This program really gave me insight into what it was like to be a student at Florida State Law. I loved the atmosphere and the location of the school, so my choice was easy.

I chose to attend Florida State Law because of the collegial and supportive academic atmosphere. I was floored by how eager the upperclassmen, professors, and my fellow classmates were to help and guide each other through the struggles and adversity of the first year. All law schools have great programs but this law school has a community and network I knew I had to join.

From the moment I stepped foot onto the campus, I have been extremely impressed with everyone I have met. The professors and advisors took an immediate interest in me and my goals, and I immediately felt valued. After my first visit, I was confident that Florida State Law was the right fit for me.
Why did you choose the College of Law?
Florida State Law is at the center of Florida legislation. Every senator, representative, lobbyist and activist group has to come to Tallahassee to get things done. I soon realized there are a tremendous number of opportunities to learn at one of the best law schools in the country and attain real-world experience in the capital city.
What do you feel is unique about the College of Law?
The College of Law is well connected to the various law firms, courts, agencies and departments in our state capital. Consequently, the opportunities in Tallahassee are endless for students.

Why did you choose the College of Law?
I chose the College of Law due to the vast amount of opportunities that are available to the students, specifically at the Legislature, the Florida Supreme Court and various state agencies. The proximity to the Capitol building is unmatched, as shown through my ability to walk up the hill to work at the Florida House in between classes.
