Students enrolled at Florida State University College of Law, upon approval from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, can enroll as a visiting student at another ABA-approved law school for a semester or academic year. In order to be eligible for financial aid, consortium students must:
- Be a degree-seeking student at FSU and meet all of the eligibility requirements for approval for transient study, as determined by the law school’s Registrar.
- Enroll in at least 6 credit hours at the host institution.
- Obtain a permission letter from the Associate Dean's Office indicating the courses you are requesting to take.
- Complete a Consortium Agreement Form and submit it to the Office of Financial Aid:
A-4400 University Center
Tallahassee, Florida 32303
If you are a student formally enrolled at another law school, but visiting at FSU Law, your financial aid will be administered by your home institution, not Florida State University. You should have your school forward a Consortium Agreement to the Office of Financial Aid (at the contact info above).
