Florida State University College of Law recommends that students not engage in employment requiring more than 20 hours per week in any semester in which they are enrolled in 12 or more course credit hours. We also strongly discourage first-year law students from engaging in employment during fall and spring semesters to allow them to focus on academics and integration into the law school community.
