Preparing and connecting our students to successful careers is our most important priority.
The Career Services and Professional Development Office (CSO), along with professors, alumni, and the administrative team, is committed to this goal. Our office serves as a bridge between students and employers, with a focus on job opportunities in the private sector, public sector, and judicial clerkships. Our staff helps students shape and realize their career goals by providing counseling, workshops, and many career-related resources. In turn, we work closely with legal employers to give them access to our talented student body.
Our efforts yield results. Florida State law graduates excel in the legal job market. According to the latest employment data, Florida State is the nation's #6 law school and #1 in Florida in terms of the percentage of 2023 graduates employed 10 months after graduation in full-time, long-term jobs that require bar passage and were not funded by the school.
Connecting Alumni and Students
Alumni looking to support our students and recent grads can connect and share opportunities on FSU Law Connect.
