FSU LAW JOB POST AND RESUME COLLECT OPTIONS

FSU Law is happy to post openings for summer, semester-long, and entry-level positions. Employers may submit a job posting by completing and submitting the Job Post Registration Form to receive applications as they are submitted. More information about the Job Post process is available here. Alternatively, employers can complete the Resume Collect Registration Form, which allows you to receive one packet of all submitted applications when your application period ends. FSU LAW 2025 RECRUITMENT PROGRAMS

FSU College of Law’s Career Services Office is pleased to announce important information about its 2025 Recruitment programs for public and private sector employers to connect, interview, and hire rising 2L, rising 3L, and LLM students for law clerk and entry-level positions. Private sector employers may interview rising 2Ls for 2026 Summer Associate positions beginning in May by registering for the Summer Private Sector Recruitment Program. Fall Hybrid OCI will occur in September and October for both public and private sector employers.

Our programs are designed to correspond with the varying timelines and hiring needs of today’s employers.


SUMMER PRIVATE SECTOR RECRUITMENT FOR SUMMER 2026 ASSOCIATE POSITIONS

FSU College of Law offers three programs for private sector employers to recruit rising 2L students for 2026 Summer Associate/Law Clerk positions: Private Sector Virtual OCI, Summer Resume Collect and Direct Apply Portal Information. More detailed information is available below. To participate, complete and submit the Private Sector Recruitment Registration Form.

A. PRIVATE SECTOR VIRTUAL OCITo register for Virtual OCI, complete and submit the Private Sector Recruitment Registration form. Limited spots are available for Virtual OCI, which will take place in May, June, July, and August, and registration will close when full or by the deadlines below, whichever comes first. Dates are as follows:

May Virtual OCI: May 13, 14, 15 (FULL)

June Virtual OCI: June 17, 18, 19. Registration deadline is May 8 or until full. Employers will receive their employer packets on or about May 30th.

July Virtual OCI: July 28, 29, 30, 31. Registration deadline is July 7 or until full. Employers will receive their employer packets approximately two weeks prior to their registered interview date.

August Virtual OCI: August 1, 5, 6, 7, 8. Registration deadline is July 7 or until full. Employers will receive their employer packets approximately two weeks prior to their registered interview date.

B. SUMMER RESUME COLLECTThe Summer Resume Collect Program is an opportunity for private sector employers not participating in Virtual OCI to receive application packets from rising 2L students for 2026 Summer Associate positions. Private sector employers select the deadline by which students must apply and specify which documents are required to apply for the position. Following receipt of the applications, the day after the deadline, employers can then contact and schedule interviews directly with students. CSO does not participate in coordinating or hosting interviews but remains available to assist both the student and employer throughout the process.

C. DIRECT APPLY INFORMATION: We encourage private sector employers not participating in Virtual OCI or Summer Resume Collect to share how students may apply for your Summer Associate positions. We will share this information with our students and remain available as support for them to assist them in the application process. To notify our office of your direct application portal, you can complete and submit the Private Sector Recruitment Registration form or email the Career Services Office using the link.


FALL HYBRID OCI

FSU College of Law is hosting its Fall Hybrid On-Campus Interview Program, which will run from September 8 through October 17, for employers interested in hiring law clerks, summer associates, or entry-level attorneys. The 2025 Program dates are as follows:

Week 1: September 8 – 12

Week 2: September 16 – 19

Week 3: September 23 – 26

Week 4: September 30 – October 3

Week 5: October 7 – 10

Week 6: October 14 – 17

Employers may register to interview students in person or virtually. Important deadlines and information are available on the Fall Hybrid OCI Registration Form.


JOB POST

Employers can advertise positions at any time of the year by completing and submitting a Job Post Registration Form.


RESUME COLLECT

Throughout the year, employers may register for a Resume Collect to receive applications from interested students on a specific date they choose. To participate in Resume Collect, complete and submit the Resume Collect Registration Form.

In addition to the recruitment and hiring programs described above, FSU Law offers other opportunities to engage with its students, including participation in or hosting of networking events, receptions tied to recruiting season, and practice area or professional development workshops.
