Seven FSU Law Students Serving as Gubernatorial Fellows
We are delighted to report that seven FSU Law students have been selected for the current class of 12 Gubernatorial Fellows. As fellows, these students are immersed in key areas of state government. They receive advanced on-the-job training and a glimpse into the inner workings of government as they fulfill roles of critical responsibility and interact closely with the state’s top leaders. No other law school is represented in this year’s class of fellows. Congratulations to FSU Law fellows Julia Canady (3rd from left), who is a graduate student in our Juris Master Program and is placed in the Executive Office of the Governor – Office of Policy and Budget; Shannon Duncanson (3rd from right), a 3L who is serving at the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration; Alberto Garcia Marrero (4th from left), a 2L placed at the Florida Division of Emergency Management; Zachary Loyed (2nd from left), a 2L who is working at the Executive Office of the Governor; Elizabeth Pearce (6th from right), a 3L placed at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation; Benjamin Robinson (2nd from right), a 3L who is serving at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; and Shaina Ruth (5th from right), a 3L who is placed at Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. We are proud of everything these students have already accomplished and know they are representing FSU Law well!
