Ann Rozycki-Fierro

Ann Rozycki-Fierro is chief legal counsel with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), Office of the General Counsel, criminal law & false claims section, in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a chief legal advisor to the Division of Investigative & Forensic Services and the Division of Public Assistance Fraud. In that position, she has developed and provided extensive training to supervisors, investigators, and analysts at DFS.

Previously Rozycki-Fierro served as an assistant attorney general in Salt Lake City, Utah. During her twenty-year tenure with the Utah AG’s Office, Rozycki-Fierro prosecuted a range of criminal matters. For many years she prosecuted cases referred by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force including child pornography and online enticement of minors. She also has experience handling a variety of financial crimes from criminal child support matters to tax fraud. Prior to serving as a prosecutor, Rozycki-Fierro represented the state in civil matters related to public assistance fraud and Medicaid estate recovery.

Rozycki-Fierro holds a bachelor of science degree in educational psychology and elementary education from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from the J. Ruben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. She was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1996 and The Florida Bar in 2016.
