Duri Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, as well as a juris doctor from the Korea University School of Law. As a law student, Kim became the president of her mock trial team and successfully helped prepare fellow students to participate in the International Moot Court competition held in Hong Kong, China. Her subsequent internship at the Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow Singapore Office made her the firm’s first foreign law student worker and broadened her legal perspective in the international law field. Kim held the position of associate attorney at both the Jeong-Se Law Firm and Shin & Yoo Legal Advisory before joining Hyosung Corporation as a junior manager for in-house counsel, where she focused on minimizing legal issues arising from international trade.

Kim’s work involving international trade and business has encouraged her to continue her American legal education in the LL.M. American Law for Foreign Lawyers Program at FSU, with the goal of connecting Korean business markets with more globalized business markets, including the U.S. If you are interested in hiring Kim, please visit her LinkedIn profile.
