Students contributed during a week-long annual student drive held February 1-7. A record 44 faculty members made challenge gifts to inspire student giving.

“We’re all thrilled by this result, which represents an extremely gratifying expression of student support for our law school,” said College of Law Dean Donald J. Weidner. “Thanks go to our students and to all of our faculty members who made challenge gifts.”

The College of Law’s student drive helps establish a culture of philanthropy among students. It also motivates alumni to contribute. Florida State is the nation’s tenth best law school in terms of alumni giving rate, according to the most recent American Bar Association data.
