TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State University College of Law Student Bar Association (SBA) will host a presentation about Help Sierra Leone at the law school on Thursday, September 18 at 12:30 p.m. The event will take place in B.K. Roberts Hall, room 101. Mo Haidara, a 2007 Florida State Law graduate and a native of Sierra Leone, will present information about the Help Sierra Leone charity he created. Haidara also will discuss improvements in Sierra Leone resulting from funds previously donated by Florida State Law students.

In conjunction with the presentation, SBA will host a benefit social on September 18 to raise money for Help Sierra Leone. The social will begin at 9 p.m. at Clyde’s and Costello's in downtown Tallahassee.

“The Student Bar Association is proud to work with Mo Haidara in raising money for Help Sierra Leone,” said SBA President Will Hall. “As his presentation will show, Mo has done amazing work in his home country using funds raised at the law school. He is truly one of our law school and our university's greatest ambassadors. SBA invites the entire FSU family to come see Mo's presentation and to help support his efforts.”
