TALLAHASSEE— The Florida State College of Law Alumni Association has selected Tallahassee attorney Linda Bond (1995) to receive the 2007 Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award.

The award recognizes a law school graduate who has rendered distinguished service to the Florida State College of Law over an extended period of time.

Bond has served on the law school’s Alumni Association Board of Directors and is currently serving as the student recruitment committee chair. In this role, she has been instrumental in law school efforts to attract top minority students.

“We are all very grateful for Linda’s dedication to the law school,” said Dean Don Weidner. “She is helping us achieve the strongest possible student body.”

Bond is a partner with Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, P.A., where she devotes her litigation practice to the representation of employers in matters involving labor and employment relations. She is also a county and circuit mediator certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
