TALLAHASSEE—With a commitment of $100,000, Florida State law school graduates Larry (1976) and Jeanne Curtin (2002) have endowed the Larry and Jeanne Curtin Scholarship.

The Tallahassee couple’s gift will be eligible for a 50 percent match from the state of Florida. The $50,000 state match will be added to the permanent endowment, creating a total endowment of $150,000. The income generated by the endowment will be used to recruit top students to Florida State.

“We are very grateful for Larry and Jeanne’s generous support of the law school,” said Dean Don Weidner. “This endowment will help us attract and support the best and brightest students.”

“Larry and I greatly benefited from the excellent legal education we received at Florida State Law,” said Jeanne Curtin. “We are pleased to see the law school flourishing and are thrilled to be able to endow this scholarship so that future lawyers can benefit as well.”

Larry Curtin is a partner in the Tallahassee office of Holland & Knight and practices in the areas of environmental and administrative law. Jeanne Curtin is a 2 founding member of the Hartman Curtin law firm in Tallahassee. She focuses her practice in the areas of environmental and land use law.
