Employee Email

Administrative (@law.fsu.edu) email accounts are available only for employees with USPS, OPS or A&P status. Student workers, graduate assistants and adjunct faculty can receive special administrative (@law.fsu.edu) email accounts when requested. To request an (@law.fsu.edu) email, please contact the College of Law help desk at 850.644.7735 or helpdesk@law.fsu.edu. Large Attachments

You can attach a maximum of 125 file attachments to an e-mail message, none of which can exceed the message size limit of 35 MB. The message size includes the message body, message header, and any attachments that are contained in the message.

You can send a message to as many as 500 recipients at a time. A public group is considered a single recipient.

In lieu of sending large attachments and potentially exceeding the quota of your mailbox, consider using FSU's Nole File Transfer NiFTy Service

Email Clients

To take full advantage of everything Office 365 email has to offer, we recommend using Outlook 2013 or later. To set up Office 365 email on your computer or mobile device, please visit the instructions at https://its.fsu.edu/service-catalog/communication-collaboration/office-365/employee-email-setup.

You can also check your e-mail online via the Office365 OWA (Outlook Web App).

Email Retention Policy

Former employees may continue to use their FSU email account upon request and prior to the time of an employee employment status change. Continued access requires a courtesy appointment. Forwarding

For teaching faculty that also have a student account, it is highly recommended that you forward your student email to your employee email. In many cases students will try to contact you using your student email account. Please contact the law school technology office if you are unsure if you have a student email account.
