Ankit Tejas Mukati

Ankit Tejas Mukati earned his bachelor’s degree in law and business administration from the University of Mumbai in 2019. During law school, he was involved in an array of extracurricular activities. In particular, he was the general secretary of the Moot Court Association and also co-authored a research paper titled “Anti-Competitive Agreement and Abuse of Dominant Position.” After graduation, he worked at KPMG. His focus area was global compliance, and he has drafted and reviewed compliances with respect to business law, pharmaceutical law, labor law, immigration law, environmental law, customs and excise law, and accounting and auditing laws of countries such as the United States, Canada, New-Zealand, Philippines and Spain. Ankit also conducted legal compliance review across various sectors in India by identifying applicable legal framework for Indian jurisdiction and deploying the same in MNCs for Indian operations. 

Because of his passion for law, Ankit decided to pursue an LL.M. in the U.S. He is currently completing the LL.M. in Business Law and aspires to work in the field of compliance after graduation.
