Austin is a 3L and has been a member of the Trial Team for the last two years. He competed in the 2019 Wayne Hogan Intramural Competition and was a semi-finalist at the 2020 Costello National Criminal Law Competition in Fairfax, VA. Austin joined the Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team his 1L year and quickly learned that litigation was his passion. He then went on to work for the Gender and Family Justice Clinic to put his newly learned skillset to good use by advocating for underprivileged clients. 

Austin previously clerked for the Federal Public Defenders office, and he is currently clerking for the Miami City Attorney’s Office.
