Why did you choose the College of Law?
I chose the College of Law due to the vast amount of opportunities that are available to the students, specifically at the Legislature, the Florida Supreme Court and various state agencies. The proximity to the Capitol building is unmatched, as shown through my ability to walk up the hill to work at the Florida House in between classes.

What do you feel is unique about the College of Law?
The College of Law is so unique because of the warm and welcoming environment. The students here reject the competitive nature typically associated with a legal education, and I have received so much support with both my academic life and my personal life. The environment completely removes the intimidation factor from the equation and allows students to focus on adjusting and learning the material.

How have you interacted with our alumni network?
I have had a great experience with our alumni network. I have attended receptions with local firms where I connected with attorneys of various backgrounds and learned about their individual career paths. Fortunately, I have gained guidance and advice from several alumni mentors throughout law school on job selection and future planning.

Which administrative office has been particularly helpful to you during your time at the College of Law?
The Career Services and Professional Development Office has been beyond helpful throughout my time at the College of Law. Career Services has helped to calm my anxiety before interviews and has taken the time to prepare me for the entire process. Everybody in Career Services goes above and beyond for each one of our students.

Give one fun fact about yourself.
I am the biggest space nerd you’ll ever meet. 

Why did you become a student ambassador?
Part of why I was so excited to attend FSU Law was because of the ambassadors that I met while visiting the law school. I loved hearing about their experiences and adoration they had for the school. I graduated from college a year early and I struggled transitioning into law school. I enjoy educating potential students on what makes our school special and discussing the welcoming environment that helped me in my transition.
