Kate Ricci

Before law school, Kate served as an active duty U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman. She is currently a certified legal intern with the State Attorney's Office for the Second Judicial Circuit and a legislative law clerk for Florida Association of Health Plans. In the summer of 2019 she completed the U.S. Army Summer Internship Program where she worked in Trial Defense Services and Operational/International Law. As a member of the Trial Team, Kate competed at the Texas Young Lawyers Association Mock Trial Competition and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Civil Rights Competition, where her team finished as semi finalists. She earned the Book Award in Trial Practice in the fall of 2018. She is also a student volunteer at the Veterans Legal Clinic, the president of the Student Veterans Law Symposium, and a student ambassador for the College of Law.
