Rotterdam is an international center for commerce and trade, with one of its areas occupied by the largest commercial port in the world. The School of Law aims at an international and interdisciplinary approach to law and trade, with a strong emphasis on practical business orientation.

Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is an international environment for critical academic thinking, driven by a strong focus on current social issues. An exchange at Erasmus School of Law offers visiting students a unique possibility to learn law from a European perspective. Courses are offered in Commercial, Maritime, Transport, International, and European Law, and offer new insights that contribute to students' personal development. Furthermore, students experience a dynamic international environment in classes with students from 45 different nationalities from over 80 Erasmus School of Law partner schools.



The School of Law has about 350 staff members working in education and research and more than 3,500 students participating in the various programs. The presence of more than 70 nationalities makes it a meeting ground for viewpoints from around the world. On-campus facilities include a modern library with online databases, an impressive sports center offering coverage of more than 30 sports, and excellent computer facilities.
