William Johnson has been retired for approximately 30 years. After graduating from FSU Law, he received an LL.M. from New York University and served for about four years in the U.S. Army, Judge Advocate General Corp. He practiced complex litigation in Orlando until his retirement. He recently published a book, Thoughtful Expressions. Johnson married a Miami law graduate. They live in a quiet seaside community surrounded by mountains with two Schipperkes named Señor Feliz and Miss Sunshine. He says, "Life is good and we are blessed." Posted 2.8.23

A. James Spalla is serving on the FSU College of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 academic year. Posted 7.1.20

Richard H. Sollner was selected as one of the 2020 Best Lawyers in America. He is a senior member at Trenam in Tampa, where he practices asset-based lending, interest rate swaps and hedges, public finance including charitable organization tax-exempt financing, real estate lending - workouts and restructuring, construction, interim and permanent, and real property transactions and investments. Jerome M. Novey was selected as one of the 2020 Best Lawyers in America. He practices complex family law matters throughout north Florida at Novey+Gonzalez, LLC in Tallahassee. Posted 9.5.19

Vera Winter Lee passed away on May 22, 2019. She lived in San Francisco. Posted 6.25.19

The award is given to outstanding Marquis Who's Who biographees who have achieved career longevity and unwavering excellence in their chosen fields.
